Earthcare’s gasification technology was installed and commissioned by our international partner Mavitec Environmental in the second quarter of 2019. The client is a turkey growing facility where the focus was on litter management and the production of biochar (Ecochar™) as a soil amendment for crop augmentation. The primary feedstock for the facility is turkey litter, which is a drier residual waste stream at 40% moisture content. The facility contains a single module gasifier train that is staffed to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
