June 8, 2023 – Earthcare Solutions’ Sean Sweeney, P.E. presented “The Future of Biosolids Management: Biochar” at the NYWEA-NEWEA Joint Spring Technical Conference and Exhibition on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the Saratoga Hilton and City Center, Saratoga Springs, New York. NEWEA and NYWEA co-host their Spring Meeting every five years. This joint meeting consistently attracts more than 400 engineers, consultants, scientists, operators, and students and features a variety of technical sessions, a tour, exhibitor displays, and the Operations Challenge competition. The New York Water Environment Association, Inc. (NYWEA) (www.nywea.org) was founded in 1929, by professionals in the field of water quality as a non-profit, educational organization. Association members helped lead the way toward existing state and national clean water programs. The New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA) (www.newea.org) was also founded in 1929. Their mission is to promote education and collaboration while advancing knowledge, innovation, and sound public policy for the protection of the water environment and our quality of life.
