Sean has specialized in waste management projects throughout his 20+ year engineering, design and construction career. Sean has significant experience focusing on the design, permitting and construction of waste and energy systems including alternative energy systems. His career has included work on a wide range of energy projects related to beneficial use of materials to generate energy or utilizing by products of energy generation including development of LFG/biogas to electric generation, medium BTU pipelines, combined heat and power and biogas to renewable natural gas (RNG) upgrading systems. Increasingly, his work has focused on alternative energy development, energy efficiency and resilient energy systems. Sean has progressive experience in the planning, permitting, design, construction, and operations assistance of municipal and private water and wastewater treatment facilities. His experience includes water and wastewater treatment system evaluation and design review; facility permitting with regulators in numerous states, a focus on waste-to-energy and beneficial use of biogas from anaerobic sludge digestion and codigestion of high-strength organics; as well as sludge dewatering, and biosolids or digestate management. Sean serves as Earthcare Solutions, LLC’s Executive Vice President where he utilizes his experience in both the public and private sectors to deliver gasification solutions tailored to meet our clients’ short-term and long-term goals.
